Naturally, no one relishes the idea of lugging accumulated, unwanted items from their past to their fresh start. Disposing of certain belongings can be simpler than others. It’s worth noting that not all charities readily accept or arrange pick-up services for older furniture. And what about the challenge of properly disposing of items like old paint cans or outdated television sets?
I’ve included a list of well known ways of getting rid of certain things and a few ways not as well known and ways to get rid of others (click on image links):

How about those old paint cans? Not all Ace Hardware’s will take old paint cans but many do. Its $2.00 a quart – $5.00 a gallon – $18.00 for 5 gallon bucket…. that’s latex pricing (TIP: Ace charges by the can so to save money buy 5 Gallon cans from Home Depot and fill those up with all the paint, then turn that in to Ace). Then use kitty litter in the left over cans to dry them out and dispose of those in regular garbage.
Maybe you have a bunch of stuff and some might be for charity and the rest for the dumpster? These guys will drop off what needs to go to charity and take the rest to the dump for you. Check out
